There are over 20 golf courses on Mallorca and the nearest to Cala Millor and Cala Bona are at Son Servera, Pula, Capdepera and Canyamel. The furthest of those four is only about a 15 minute drive away. For further information click here.

Mallorca is a haven for those of you who enjoy water sports. Naturally, being an island there is every conceivable water sport you could think of, from SCUBA diving to fishing, from boardsailing to jet skiing, from swimming to water skiing, is all to be had locally. Just look around the beach area for signs and notices where you can partake in your favourite activity.

Rancho Willy at Cala Bona is a well established local stable from where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the resort and sample the peace and beauty of the Mallorcan countryside. The shortest ride lasts for 90 minutes and costs around 15 €. Once the summer is over, they offer the remaining visitors to the area longer two or three days treks with overnight accommodation. These longer trips will need to be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment, and will only run subject to a minimum group size of between 6 to 10 people. For the budding Michael Schumacher's of all ages Cala Millor also has its own karting track, which is situated in a quiet area on the southern outskirts of the resort. They offer a variety of karts, depending on the age and experience of the driver, from the restricted 120cc machines for age 5 and above to the super fast 270cc karts for adults. Segway Tours are a really unique way of seeing Cala Millor. A Segway is an electric scooter, which are controlled by shifting your weight while standing. With offices on the promenade, near to the the Hotel Sumba/Borneo, each tour is accompanied by an experienced, friendly, multilingual tour guide, and lasts around 1.1/2 hours including a short safety and training session. Nearly all bars in town show live sporting events on TV, with Premiership, Champions League and UEFA Cup matches dominating the screens from August to May. And don't forget, most bars show a LIVE Premier League game every Saturday afternoon - a luxury you don't get 'back home.'
